canon: my canon was this weird au where mako owned a farm and i’d help him out.

memories:

• i remember being?? human? before i was hayseed but i currently can’t remember how or why i turned into (was made into?) hayseed
• i remember before mako knew i was alive(?) i would kinda dissociate or sleep on the post i was tied to in the field until night then i would get off (or try to get off) and roam the farm until dawn
• i didn’t have my right arm during my human life but i did have my leg and i remember one night during my hayseed life i got my right leg? stuck? in/on something (i think it was a small barbed wire fence) and it just,,, ripped off
  • like it just tore off and it was stuffed with hay it was the fucking weirdest thing
  • i kinda sat there like “Well,” until the sun started to rise and i really awkwardly crawled back to the post and sat at the base of it until morning cause i couldnt get up on it
  • mako found me and was like “??uh what the fuck” and brought me into the barn to give me a new leg and then he tied me (tightly) back onto the post
• i dont remember how mako found out i was actually,, alive (i think the leg thing was a big part of it) but i remember him making me sleep in the barn a lot at first and i’d sleep on the hay bails
• eventually our relationship kinda just?? grew? he’d let me sleep inside sometimes and he was just warming up to me i guess
• i dont remember the first time he let me sleep in the bed i think i crawled in it in the middle of the night
  • he’d always complain about me getting hay in the bed and kick me out
  • i was really only allowed in the bed once i was hay free (which meant no mask, prosthetics, etc and i didnt want to take them off until mako and i really trusted each other which took a while)
• farm wise, i mainly remember the pigs but we may have had other animals? maybe chickens
• i’d help (or,, try to help) with farmwork but i’d usually just goof around and get a bad sunburn
• i’d never leave the farm and tbh i dont know if i could but i remember mako going to town sometimes

• i maybe?? remember hana and lucio but thats a really unsure maybe
• i associate 80’s and 90’s rock/punk music with jamie and i think i’d listen to it a lot

• i liked bugs
• i was usually really really dirty
  • mako would have to hose me off until i trusted him enough to take a bath (we didnt have a shower and you had to pour water over yourself with a bucket)
• i’d fall in the mud when it was slippery a lot cause of my leg
• i have one memory of mako just fucking?? sticking his hands into my mouth and forcing it open cause he wanted to see the orange glowy stuff in the back of my throat and it hurt cause of the stitches around my mouth
  • im pretty sure that was when he first saw me with my mask off
• i have a really vivid memory of trying oatmeal for the first time
• the blanket on our bed was this really cozy quilt and i loved it
