  • I outwardly express hate for the ingenue and only want to be the "badass" or messed up character...But really, I just want to be Julie Andrews. I mean...look at my hair. Also, what am I watching right now? Mary Poppins.
  • I have very flexible ears. Really, they're like soft rubber. I've thought about putting it under my "Special Skills." If you've spent time around me, you've probably seen me awkwardly ball up my ear lobe and stuff it in my ear. I've done this since I was a BABY, which is perhaps why the cartilage has never hardened.
  • I've never been a comic book fan, but I love super hero outerwear. I have a spiderman shirt, superman pajama pants and batman underpants (yes, I count those as outerwear).
  • My favorite game is "pretend." Even to this day. I blame that game for my interest in wanting to be an actor. I'm crazy.
  • I'm crazy!
  • I am a people person. But sometimes I have so much faith in people and how I WANT them to be, that I get let down a lot. I don't think that makes me controlling...just foolable.
  • When I was little, I had this crazy notion that if you smashed the TV, all the cartoons and people could come out of it and play with you. My mother quickly smothered this idea before I could do anything to our TV.
  • I was in therapy and on medication for part of last year and this year. I still don't know what the conclusion of that mess was supposed to be...
  • I am a die hard fan of all of the Lord of the Rings movies. I will watch any of them, anywhere, with anyone at any time!!!! Hit me up.
  • I am a "task-hopper." I've already stopped doing this and gone to do something else 3 times and I'm only on number 10. I've been tested for ADD and ADHD and I have neither. I just get bored easily.
  • As easily as I am bored, I am entertained. I had to get good at entertaining myself being an only child and not having many friends till high school.
  • I am really good at photo editing. Any kind of photo. I would also like to think I'm good at taking photos, and before I die, I will invest in one of those big black fancy cameras :)
  • Before this brilliant decision to become a star...ving artist, I wanted to be a scientist and musician. Then I wanted to be a vet. These were excellent plans...until I realized I sucked at math, hated the boundaries and restrictions and rules of science, and felt sick at the sight of blood. So musician it was! Until I found that I have a carrying voice and odd wish for self-induced schizzophrenia, or the craft of acting.
  • I don't really like even numbers. I can't explain why. My favorite numbers are 3, 7, 11, 13 and 21. These were also excellent years of my life - especially 7. Well, haven't expereienced 21 yet...but how could it NOT be excellent??
  • Excellent is an excellent word. Why? --> exELLENt ;)
  • I donated 11 inches of my hair to Locks of Love in March of 2009.
  • I think short hair looks better on me, but I miss the action of putting my hair up into a pony tail. It's oddly soothing, and sometimes I'll fiddle with the back of my hair and pretend there's more of it there.
  • One of my ambitions in life is to have long hair, get a perm, and have giant, thick, curly hair - a la Carole King. Also, I can't wait to have long, thick, gray/white hair when I'm old. I dye it now, but won't when I'm older.
  • I love to laugh. That's also my favorite song in Mary Poppins. I would always have the secret wish that I would start to fly just like they do in the movie. I still want that to happen. I've laughed so hard that I've cried many, MANY times. But I want to laugh so hard that I'll just suddenly start flying. Then it really would be the best medicine :)
  • Whenever all the numbers on the clock are the same, I make a wish. It's silly, but it gives me a small comfort throughout the day.
  • I often wonder if Webster really is the right place for me. It is by no means perfect, that's for certain. But no place would be. But hey, at the end I have a BFA and knowlegde and friends to comfort me in the real world.
  • New York City is my absolute favorite place in the whole wide world. You might be wondering, well, why didn't I go to school THERE. The answer is: I hated NYU when I visited, Juiliard only called me back once out of the 4 necesarry, (SC)AMDA was just too sketch by accepting me before I applied...and in all honesty, I would never get any work done for normal classes because my love for this city is so much more than even theatre.
  • Now that I think about it, Mary Poppins is to blame for my love of "pretend."
  • I believe that IPA should be taught in elementary schools around the world.
  • I take that back...it's too good of a secret code :)
  • When I was little, I used to think "make-up" dance classes were special ones where you got to wear make up. I would always ask my dad to bring me my nail pollish after school so I could paint my nails before those dance classes.
  • I think nail pollish is the 9th wonder of the world. New York, being the 8th.
  • After I leave school, I'm not exactly sure where I'll be, or what I'll be doing for an income...but I do know that I want to write music and perform it.
  • I want to date attractive, interesting, tall MEN - not to be mistaken with BOYS - who equally want to date me. Too bad I go to Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri...
  • No, I am not a lesbian. I know it doesn't say what I'm "interested in" on FB, and that's because I believe it shouldn't matter. I'm just a tall, short-haired, New Yorker who knows what she wants. Basically Miranda from Sex and the City...who is ironically played by Cynthia Nixon, a tall, short-haired, New Yorker lesbian...hahahaha oh boy
