  • Earthtreaders
    • The most Common people of Emaris. They have few special abilities, being very balanced overall. Some can use basic magic, but these are rare individuals and usually are hunted for their powers.
  • Windwhispers
    • A people with long, pointed ears and acute hearing. They can even hear the whispers of the wind — hence their name. They have powerful magical abilities, and tend to carry some royal blood.
  • Forestdwellers
    • A people residing in Emaris’ forests. They have pointed ears and sharp hearing, albeit not quite as good as Windwhispers’, as well as excellent climbing abilities. They can communicate with animals and tend to be good at gardening. They may have magic capabilities as well.
  • Icewalkers
    • A people living in the snowlands of Emaris. They can tolerate extreme cold and walk on ice easily. There are very few left, and they tend to have the same level of magic as Forestdwellers.
  • Mistdwellers
    • A people living in caverns behind the waterfalls. They have great swimming abilities and can breathe underwater. They tend to be gifted healers, and are known for their magic abilities.
  • Stonewalkers
    • A people living in the mountains. They have outstanding climbing skills and can take heavy damage due to their tougher skin and hard bones. They are the least common magic users.

Mihto Group - Peoples with paw pads and "animal" characteristics such as tails.

  • Lunascenths
    • A moon-harvesting people that uses the moon to heal and strengthen themselves. They have large, pointed ears, long tails, and clawed, three-toed feet, and are typically short in stature. They tend to have dark hair and pale eyes that turn silver in the moonlight. They can use powerful magic.
  • Solascyntes
    • A sun-harvesting people that uses the sun to heal and strengthen themselves. They have pointed, feathered ears, feathered tails, and clawed, four-toed feet. They tend to have dark hair and warm-colored eyes that turn amber in the sunlight. They can use powerful magic.
  • Talonchats
    • A feline-like people with large ears situated atop their heads and sharp claws to match. They may have one or two fluffy tails. They have bright eyes that can see in the dark. They are talented hunters and are very good at getting their way. They have basic magic abilities.
  • Fawnsteps
    • A fawn-like people with a light-stepping, graceful gait. They tend to be childish, free-spirited and untroubled by worries, but are very gentle and kind. They are quiet and careful, preferring actions over words to get their point across. They have powerful magic abilities.
  • Aurascynthes
    • A strange people with pointed, feathered ears and split tails.They typically have white or silver hair and pale eyes that change color when reading a person’s aura or thoughts, abilities that all Aurascynthes possess. They have extremely powerful magic abilities, and are among the rarest of Emarisian peoples.
  • Ivoryfeathers
    • A bird- or angel-like people with golden, silver and white feathered wings upon their backs and taloned feet. They are quiet and reserved, not communicating much towards the other races. They live in the skies above Emaris and are some of the most uncommon people, with only seven people bearing membership. They have exceptional musical and healing abilities, and also have prophetic visions. They are very distrustful, however, as they are often hunted when they come out of hiding due to their incredible magical powers — the best in Emaris.
  • Stormscales
    • A half-dragon people with horns, pointed ears, long tails, huge, scaly wings, and three-toed, clawed feet. They also have claws upon their hands. The lower halves of their bodies are covered in glistening scales, and their legs are sturdy and powerful. They are incredibly powerful in strength and magical abilities, but extremely rare, even more so than the Ivoryfeathers.
