- brew ha ha! (i was thirteen and volunteered there through my school. it was fun; i made sandwiches.)
- the post house (my first real job, waitressing)
- newark day nursery (real depressing... little kids whose parents dropped them off at 6am and picked them up at 6pm are guaranteed to have serious behavioral problems.)
- pratt institute writing program advisement office (i shot the shit with my awesome boss, typed things, answered the phone, made copies, and listened to "hide and seek" by imogene heap multiple times per day.)
- pratt institute library (probably one of my favorite jobs, especially because i worked there during the summer when it was slow. i liked being around books all day.)
- jane magazine (as an editorial intern, i did a ton of uncredited, unappreciated shit. before i worked here, i thought of jane as somewhat progressive when it came to women's magazines. then i met the women who wrote the stories, and they were all pretty shallow and media-zombified.)
- the ____ family (i was a nanny to two amazing little girls. this is by far the best "job" i have ever had.)
- border cafe (ugh, waitressing. we had rats.)
- girl scouts of the chesapeake bay (i'm in charge of all the cookies.)
