• 1. Get fit for Europe Be in the best shape possible for the Europe summer trip! This means minimizing daily calorie intake and reserving junk food for one cheat day a week, doing strength and cardio exercises every other day, and avoiding snacking unnecessarily.
  • 2. Stay hydrated Drinking eight glasses a day can be difficult, so bring a water bottle around everyday.
  • 3. Live a more frugal life Always set aside something for a rainy day, and don't splurge regularly- it not only saves money, but it makes occasional purchases more sweeter, too!
  • 4. Set aside time everyday for going over lessons Cramming is never the answer. Keep the topics fresh by studying them a little everyday. It'll improve class performance and lessen the pressure come finals week.
  • 5. Exert more effort in extra-curriculars The final year in college is crucial in getting an edge over future competitors. Take initiative in school organizations, and follow through.
  • 6. Master the Chinese language (as much as possible) Don't let six years of lessons go to waste. Pick up old textbooks and start practicing Mandarin! Make flashcards, practice writing, and watch Chinese TV shows to be more familiarized with the accent.
  • 7. Learn conversational French Apparently, not a lot of French people speak English. Make the most of the upcoming Eurotrip and learn their language.
  • 8. Stay creative Dedicate time to the arts. Instead of wasting time browsing random sites on the internet, find interesting crafts to make at home.
  • 9. Develop better photography skills Constantly bring a camera around and get creative with it! Get a better grasp on the different elements such as the angles and lighting to become a more effective photographer.
  • 10. Keep the soul healthy by writing Always find time to jot down thoughts on a journal. Bottled up thoughts only make for either heartache or lost ideas.
  • 11. Say "thank you" more often Showing gratitude never hurt anyone. Say thanks and motivate others to pay it forward.
  • 12. Enough with the excuses Commit to something, give it 100%, and follow through, and victory will be inevitable.
