If anyone is gonna archive internet videos here are the formats I'd recommend you use for archival:

• VHS
• Betamax
• S-VHS
• D-VHS
• DVD
• HD-DVD
• Blu-Ray

There's plenty of ways to get your hands on blank formats on this list. Online shopping for these things are easy (for now) but it takes skill to find them in stores.
