• Film him teaching you how to fix something his way, not the “right” way.
• Ask him about the proudest moment of his life, and don’t interrupt while he answers.
• Record his laugh when he tells one of his old stories.
• Go for a drive and let him pick the music.
• Ask him what he was like at your age — you’ll see him differently.
• Watch his favorite old movie and let him tell you why it mattered to him.
• Help him with a project he’s been putting off, even if it takes all day.
• Tell him something he taught you that you’ll never forget.
• Take a photo of him doing something simple - grilling, reading, smiling — exactly how you want to remember him.
• Record him saying “I’m proud of you.”...
