this is my "favorite characters" list but very very selective to a specific feeling i harbor for VERY few characters. it's the feeling that every time they show up on the screen, or page, or whatever medium, my heart clenches and melts a little just thinking about their internal struggles. i love them for all the subtleties and what makes them flawed and half the time, i can't decide if i want to date them (to clarify: really only applies for the girls) or if i want to hug them and treat them as my child.

it's the feeling that i want to see them vulnerable because even though many of them wouldn't want to be seen this way, i think they are just as lovable at their truest, most vulnerable selves
