clean up room

• go through things (clothes, stuffed animals, funko pops, general room items)
• take out trash, dishes, etc.
• change the sheets
• vaccuum & mop
• dust
• wipe down surfaces
• address the closet

paint walls

• take my things out of my room (this is a good opportunity to banish some unwanted things like the cubes, led lights, & possibly the bedframe)
• paint the walls dark green
• possibly go ahead and swap out the ceiling fixture
• swap outlet covers and light switch cover if needed
• return the items

deal with shelves

• take items off shelves and store in boxes for the meantime
• build a bigger bookshelf (inspo)
• paint current bookshelf same color as used for the new one
• put items on shelves

buy a rug

• buy rug
• lay down rug
• there isnt much else to it but i cant only put one thing

buy a loft bed + rearrange room

• buy a pre-owned loft bed with a desk off facebook marketplace
• get new bed sheets (preferably floral or plaid)
• put things on desk on new desk
• banish the dresser to the closet
• put bedside table in the corner where desk is now & dedicate it as a little cd area
• put shelves next to each other against wall where bookshelf is now
• put guitar against the wall under the loft bed
• put tv up in the loft bed on the wall at the foot of the bed

decorate

• print out posters at staples and put on wall with glue dots
• put canopy up on loft bed
• adorn loft bed and shelves with fairy lights and vines
• buy stuffed animal beanbag, fill w the non favorite stuffed animals, and put by the cd station
• put glow-in-the-dark stars on ceiling (i think i still have some unused ones)
• put my old lamp from my nursery on my desk
• any other decoration i want to buy
