• persona 3 reload (the mc in this game is an orphan who relocates to a beautiful port island. everything's fine at first but he finds out there was a huge tragedy on this island 10 years ago where hundreds of people died. him and his new friends try to uncover the secrets of what happened. turn-based combat + with the option to select easy mode)

-- NOTE -- I would always recommend a newbie to start with Persona 3 even though Persona 5 is superior. P3 is a lot more beginner friendly and less overwhelming. If you truly do enjoy P3, then yes I would recommend P5 but at this stage, no I won't recommend my favourite game of all time *sad face*)

• dispatch (created by the same ppl who made the wolf among us / the walking dead! very similar gameplay! you play as a former hero named robert who has been hired to lead a group of former villains who want to be heroes. you're basically their dispatcher - you're coordinating all their movements/attacks. the gameplay is SUPER unique and also the soundtrack is so niceee!!)
• fields of mistria (both of us did not enjoy stardew valley... this game is basically stardew valley but without all the bad parts. it is actually relaxing, wholesome and the character designs are beautiful. a perfect game to play when you finish work and just want to kill some time and chill out!)
• metaphor refantazio (it's about a young man who's best friend - a prince - has been cursed. the king gets murdered and now there is no one to take over the throne. so he's on a quest to save his friend and hopefully get him on the throne before others try and take over. while doing so, he also is on a quest to get revenge on those who hurt his friend. everyone has a british accent and its got that classy LOTR vibe. it also has easy turn-based combat and the setting is gorgeous!)
• botany manor (very short game! a puzzle game about growing rare plants in an old English manor. super beautiful, relaxing but you also get to use your head and solve mini mysteries! make sure you keep a book with you to write down all the clues to solve the puzzles!!!)
