• Her mother had three couplets from three different men, so she and her older brothers are only half-related. And also, she and her twin are the only one not to know who their father is, because he disappeared after they were born and no one would tell them his name. • She and her brothers are half French and half the nationality of their father: Edgar and Edmund are half Arabian; Paris and Miranda are half Chinese; Des and Cordelia are European, but do not know the nationality of their father. • Her mother got married only once, with her step-father, who has a son from a previous wedding. • Her mother has a obsession with Shakespeare's novels, so she gave a shakespearian first name to everyone of her children. Des has her apartment walls in Seoul plastered with shakespearian quotes. • Des and her brothers all have a tattoo with a quote from the play/novel their name come from. • When she was little some men tried to kidnap her, but her older sister, Miranda, protected her. During the fight the leader man's gun shot and both Des and her sister got injured. While Des only got a scar, Miranda who was pregnant lost her baby.Later the woman stopped eating, developed anorexia nervosa and in the end killed herself. Since then Cordelia had always thought it was Desdemona's fault. • Her family is extremely rich, but she and her brothers all keep on working. • All her family lives in different places: her mother, step-father and step-brother live in France; Edgar lives in Scotland with his wife and daughter; Edmund lives as a Tuareg in the Sahara Desert (he embraced his father's origins); Paris lives in Japan where he's kind of a rockstar; Cordelia lives in Danemark and is working to become a heart surgeon. • She is the only one who took upon herself the family Company. • She can speak fluently lots of languages, because she was home schooled to learn them. • She spent a few years in Russia to study ballet to become a ballerina, but moved to America when her friend died and started studying modern and hip-hop dancing and became a choreographer. • Her best friend, a German ballerina named Ella Rosen, died after being involved in a drug dealing case by her boyfriend, she found herself in the middle of a gang fight in Russia and was shot to death by the russian mafia, the Bratva. Des's boyfriend of the time was the one who dragged both Ella and his boyfriend in the case. After the accident Des broke up with her boyfriend and moved to America. She now feels pure hatred for that guy and does not want to see him for any reason. Ella's boyfriend died some days after Ella for overdose. • Her mother's family is of high nobility, in fact Des is a princess. They live at Villandry's Castle in Villandry, Indre et Loire, France. • Des has a rare chronic illness that sometimes makes her cough and throw up blood and makes it difficult for her to breath, like during panic attacks. Her personal doctor is studying her illness since when she was diagnosed. She takes lots of medicines every day and when she has attacks she has to get an injection in her veins; she's skilled enough to do it herself as of now. • She currently lives in Korea and works as a choreographer for k-pop groups and idols and has great friends among them. She's really close with MAMAMOO's components and also BLACKPINK's components. She is also very affectionate to BIGBANG and it is TaeYang who introduced her to the BTS, with whom she's working now. She's becoming really close with them too. • She's really clever and smart and has a high IQ.
