• A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket - tbh I've been meaning to reread all of these. Favorite childhood series ever, even more than Harry Potter (although I like HP too).
• While England Sleeps by David Leavitt - idk this is my favorite gay lit ever? I know it stirred up controversy, but this book always makes me cry whenever I read it.
• Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami - I think the ending of this book is the best, and nothing I've ever read can be compared to it.
