Nowadays I keep my beloved toys in a big box where mice can't chew them. As a kid, I used to pack all the toys in a backpack in case there would be a fire, so I could just take the backpack with me.

  • Unipupu, my most treasured stuffed bunny.
    • Great-grandpa's sister gave her to me when I was maybe 5 years old.
    • Unipupu was brought from China, if I remember correctly, and she likes wearing dresses and sweaters.
    • She's all battered and napless because she has been everywhere with me.
  • Jessica (stuffed goose) and Piippi (stuffed duck).
    • I bought Jessica from Mallorca. She was in a big bin with all the other geese, but I knew she was the one I wanted.
    • Jessica has a stain on her chin from drinking NestlĂ© chocolate milk.
    • Jessica uses stud earrings as pacifiers.
    • Jessica's feet and eyes would sometimes fall off and mom had to sew them on again.
    • I bought Piippi from Gran Canaria.
    • Piippi likes to sleep.
    • Jessica and Piippi are best friends.
  • Three Littlest Pet Shop mice.
    • My favourite of them once got lost when we were at my grandma's. She was later found in the ceiling wreath.
    • Two of the mice have magnets on them. The third one doesn't, he just sleeps.
  • Red stuffed cat.
    • One time I was playing with him outside, he fell into a ditch. His insides got all hard and crispy!
    • His eyes were closed and he had a smile on his face.
  • Big baby blue stuffed bear.
    • I got him from my godmother as a christening gift.
    • Once I had a terrible nightmare when I was sleeping with the bear in my bed. After that, I never wanted to sleep next to him again.
  • Three small toy horses.
    • They all had wounds that would heal when you put them in hot water.
    • Their colours were white (he was bending over to eat grass), light brown (he stood up and looked around) and grey (he was a pony).
    • Unfortunately it seems I have lost my favourite of them, the grey pony. This saddens me a lot.
  • Three little baby dinosaurs.
    • They got mud all over them when you put them in cold water!
    • I think I bought them from Mallorca, too.
    • I remember playing with them at my cousins' house one summer.
    • The teal one was asleep, the yellow one was holding a rattle and the purple one was chewing on a bone.
  • Two stuffed tigers.
    • One of them is a big tiger, the other one is a baby tiger.
    • I stole the baby tiger from my cousin.
    • The baby tiger is much more worn and she has no tail left.
  • Muru, a knitted doll my mom made at school.
    • Sometimes her arms and legs would come off and mom had to sew them on again.
  • A little stuffed bear.
    • I won him from some contest or game at an amusement park.
    • Once he got lost and I asked mom if she had seen the bear. She had no idea what I was talking about, because he does not look like a special bear.
    • I later found him and now he's happily sleeping in a tiny sleeping bag.
  • A stuffed pink panther.
    • When I played Calvin, the panther would be my Hobbes.
    • I always threw him out of the second store window in the summer.
    • His arms weren't attached to his body too well, so sometimes I noticed he had lost an arm and I had to search for it everywhere with mom.
  • A bunch of dinosaur toys. Fuck yeah.
    • One tiny dinosaur got decapitated during playing when I was little. I started crying and I asked mom if she could fix the dinosaur. She said yes, but put the dinosaur in the trash while I was still looking. :(
  • Five kittens.
    • They all had different coloured collars and bows.
    • I bought them from a thrift store.
  • A mother penguin and five baby penguins.
    • These were one of my favourite things to play with. :3
