more helpful sites
works as a grammar, vocabulary, self-study, practice and everything else site tbh.
these two sites let you connect with native Japanese speakers who are very responsive and will help you correct your sentences or answer any questions and doubts you might have! practice with professionals c:
some phone apps that are good too
lets you connect to people of various countries, allows you to do a language exchange. currently only open to one language exchange at a time. I sometimes switch between Japanese and Korean though. But like any other stranger-messanger app, be careful! everyone i've talked to so far are really nice though. you can also upload a little audio recording, and that actually makes people want to approach you more hahah (tried and tested). it also has a translator function, but only allows up to 20 or so translations for free in a day. The translations are a lot more accurate than google translate though.
This is another translator app, that has just about the same accuracy as the hellotalk translator, but has no limit on the amount of translations.
Specifically a Firefox add-on that shows you translations for Japanese in Hiragana, Kanji and English. A lot better than your old friend google translate.
This is really advanced of course, but really cool if you like sign language and want to learn it in Japanese yoo!!
