- not the hurricane: it had been a shit day. a shit day. tim was tired. as he limped back into their apartment, he really hoped jason would be there because frankly, tim was ready to kill something if jason wasn’t.
- what day is it?: sometimes jason wonders how tim hasn't worked himself into an early grave.
- strange fear i ain't felt for years: tim’s benched with a broken arm and starts playing jason’s personal oracle. things escalate.
- fell from heaven, now i'm living like the devil: “fuck you, jason” tim snarls, breathless now. “you came here not me.”
- messing with my sanity: they're playing a game, the same one they've played time and time again, and tim fully intends to win.
- what you need i need too: “you’re all wound up,” tim says mildly, finally setting his tablet aside, raising his eyes to meet jason’s. “i think you should come here.”
- you build me up like steps: tim faces this problem the same way he faces every problem he comes up against, faces it the only way he knows how. with research.
- oh i'm trying to be good: “do you want me to beg?” jason stops in the middle of cooking dinner to ask. “because i’ll do it."
