- hell is:: daniel drinks another martini and a half, says, “you’re lucky I’m on blood thinners. I used to handle my liquor way better,” as he sets the unfinished drink on the table and offers armand his arm again.
- his thoughts were red thoughts: daniel just got pleasantly fucked in a japanese love hotel and taken out for pancakes by his sleep paralysis demon; there’s nothing stereotypical about this.

- the incomplete everything: 1985. after nearly a year apart, armand returns to daniel in the middle of the night, dressed in only a purple slip.
- the kiss on my cheek: daniel can be good, sometimes. if he’s sated enough by his beloved demon.
- ad hominem: daniel gets fired from the chronicle. armand makes it better (or worse).
- the fog eating the night: whether he meant to or not, louis had given daniel to armand.

- as lovely as can be: louis and lestat spend a very lovely night together.
- you are the moon that breaks at night: following their reunion, louis gives lestat everything he needs.
- furnace: louis takes care of lestat, then lestat takes care of him.
- inertia: lestat plays hard to get. louis plays along.
- someone buy me roses: lestat's frown deepens. “my god, louis!” he says. “i am not some petty voyeur. my motives are noble. my heart is unselfish. frankly this is an act of chivalry. please take off your pants.”
- that's the kind of love: lestat and louis find common ground.
- do wrong right: during episode four, lestat and louis experience a dry spell as a result of claudia sleeping in their room, and then they don't.
- the landscape after cruelty: in the aftermath of the reunion, louis takes lestat back to his hotel.
- carried: “that’s all there is to it?” louis asks. “bien sûr. i love you, and that’s all there is to it,” lestat hums.
- fireside: “light that fire. lock us in. do me some face,” he demands, his own pupils beginning to swell.
