In latent terms, just my ideal funeral.

  • A few words left in a letter to read at my funeral:
    • "When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little -- but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me -- but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me -- but let me go!" Today is the day we say our goodbyes. I loved you then and I will continue to love you forever. Keep me in the center of your heart, for I will be anyways. Live on and be happy because that's what I want the most. Pray for me and I will be there. Talk to me and I will be listening. You each have a little piece of me with you and you each come together to make me whole. Do not stray away but learn how to cope and be strong. Learn how to live without me, no matter how long it takes. For the day today is typically a day of sorrow and sadness, make today a day of happiness in remembering the good times. Just remember the good times. Laugh, cry, and again, just remember.
