I asked my mom about her input on my top five names for each gender and these were her rankings and opinions:

• Alaska Juliette Faye* - (♥) She doesn't like the name Faye but she thought that this was the most unique, and she really liked the flow of Alaska and Juliette, and how it honored a character in my favorite book.
• Lennon Penelope Rose - (✔) She wasn't too crazy about this one but she thought it was okay overall.
• Élodie Winter Genevieve - (✘) She thought the name would be a bit too much for my future daughter.
• Alice Matilda Scarlet - (✔) She associated the name Alice in a negative kind of way so she didn't really care for it but she liked Matilda and Scarlet.
• Serenity Eleanor Ruth - (✔) She really liked Serenity but she thought Eleanor and Ruth were too dated.

• Soren Alexei Sage - (✘) She thought the name was a bit too feminine as a whole for me to use on a son.
• Matthias Henry Jackson* - (♥) She liked this name the most amongst all my top boy names. She thought Matthias was cute.
• Tobias Rupert James - (✔) She thought that this was a bit "out there" but appreciated James being an honorable name of her own father.
• Vincent Leopold Grey - (✘) She much-less hated this one.
• River Gabriel Thomas - (✘) She thought River was different but she hates the name Gabriel and doesn't care much for Thomas.
