a few things about my uncle

• young enough to have been my brother
• bought me my very first cd christmas 1995 - it was no doubt's tragic kingdom. i was 9
• never treated me like a little kid
• i always thought he was handsome
• worked as a carnie for a few summers
• used to stick up for me when his sister was treating me badly
• lost most touch with me after his sister and my dad divorced, but remained kind to my dad
• took in my dad's cat when dad died
• ended his own life with a gun this week
• never knew how much he affected me
