- rubbing your feet just because you stick them in front of his face.
- remembering your favourite colour, song, movie, food... and brand of shoe.
- laughing at your dad's jokes, eating all the food your mom forces in front of him, letting your brother win a video game, and helping your sister with calculus homework.
- serenading you with a bad boyband ballad during a long road trip (complete with head bobbing), just because he senses that you're bored.
- sending you two line emails during the day just to make you smile because he knows you're probably bored and bitter at work.
- staying awake for as long as he can hold out just because you need to talk at night.
- listening with real interest when what you need to talk about ends up being one of your many delusional rants.
- sitting through Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls with you (even if he does secretly like them both.)
- bringing home the best pasta salad from that place you like without your even having to ask.
- telling you you're beautiful when you've got snot coming out of your nose and hair sticking up all over the place.
- not immediately pouring you a Coke when you ask for one because he knows that 20 seconds later, you'll change your mind and want tea instead.
- that coy half-smile and the way he says "nothing" when you ask him what he's doing after he totally just sniffed your hair.
- leaning over to kiss you on the shoulder in the middle of the night when he thinks you're fast asleep.
