- Adult Swim
- Ethiopian food
- More specifically, kitfo, beef and lamb tibs, and injera. Was a little nervous about trying kitfo, but it's actually really delicious. I could live without injera, though.
- Listography
- Yet another lovely item to add to my list of things that distract me.
- Dinner theatre
- Went to one for Leah's birthday. They put on an Agatha Christie play ('A Murder is Announced'). It was awesome.
- Crocheting granny squares
- FINALLY!
- Nearly finished with the first baby blanket, for Adrian (who should be joining us on planet Earth in all his glory in approximately one month). Will do Sophia's next, and then Jackson's. And then...a full, adult sized blanket for myself? Yay!
- Roy Rogers
- Harpers Ferry, WV
- AWESOME. Can't wait to go back!
- Peach butter
- Not as great as apple butter, but good. Definitely new. I also bought a jar of homemade red raspberry preserves. I'll open it when the weather warms up a bit more. It's going to taste like my childhood. :D
- Being a bridesmaid
- It's exciting, and fun, and truly an honor.
- Carlos O'Kelly's
- Eh. Food was as lackluster as Chevy's, but the margarita was good & cheap.
- Cucumber water
- Sally Beauty Supply
- Bachelorette parties.
- The bride-to-be had a blast, so I'm perfectly happy. ;D Mission accomplished!
- Jos Whedon's 'Firefly'
- AWESOME. All thanks to Ellen.
- Gettysburg, PA
- Didn't get to see much of it, but saw enough to make me really eager to return!
- Volunteering at CrisisLink
- I really feel like I make a difference in people's lives. This is one of the best decisions I've made in years.
- Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood books
- Addicting, and very distracting.
- Camping in the United States
- FAIL. Ended up getting a treehouse cabin instead of using the tents. Cabin was really nice, but we should have braved the storm and used our tents instead.
- Arlington Draft House
- Will definitely go back there again.
- California Tortilla
- Yum. Cheaper than Chipotle. Tastier, too.
- the elliptical
- Best exercise machine, ever. Finally learned how to use it without falling off!
- foreign horror films
- Well, only three (from Korea, Spain and France), but the Korean and Spanish movies were really good. I'd watch more, as long as they're clever and intelligent and not just gory scream flicks.
