  • Started drinking coffee every morning young
    • I want to say around 2, no lie
    • MEMORY: When I was 4ish, I remember waking up my father at 5:30 in the morning because it was time to go get the coffee from Dunkin' Donuts (definitely young because I wasn't in school at the time)
  • When I was little I drank it half milk, half coffee with two spoonfuls of sugar
  • 9, my brother successfully convinced me that I was shrinking because of my coffee intake. Quit cold turkey in the hopes of reversing this process.
  • 11 or 12, I realized that I was abnormally tall for my age, and that if coffee was making me shrink, I was glad it was. Started it up again.
    • This time I took it more traditionally with just a dash of cream and two sugars
  • When I was at SYMS camp, had my first coffee overdose
    • Drank something like 40 oz, starting shaking and drawing pictures of coffee in Music Theory class. Later experienced first coffee stomach ache.
    • Remember I called my Mom in my dorm room, and told her I wasn't feeling well. She pointed out that coffee can be a cruel mistress.
  • 15 or 16 started drinking multiple cups a day.
  • 16- Got a K-Cup.
    • Started experimenting with things other than straight coffee
    • Now drink Hazelnut most mornings, will take Carmel when at Starbucks
  • 17- second bad coffee overdose at Red Arrow, where refills are free, and I had a long wait. Drive home was actually scary, as I couldn't stop my hands from twitching
  • Favorite places to drink coffee: Red Arrow and Pegs. They have damn good coffee
