- I wish… for the ability to be happy in any situation.
- I wish… that I could live in a beautiful white cottage with a big white door decorated with hand-painted pink roses, pink window frames, a pink tiled roof, hundreds of bushes of pink roses, lavender, clusters of white lilies & a grand old willow tree in the front garden and a pale gravel drive. It would fill with sunlight during the day and have two large-ish bedrooms with huge four poster beds shrouded with delicate white drapes; a bathroom containing a classic free-standing bath, a marble countertop with a circular sink that has a huge ornate mirror in front of it; a cosy living room with old-fashioned furniture, squashy velvet sofas and a massive LCD HD TV; a large, white & black tiled kitchen with a big oven and a double-door fridge and a long back garden with space for a big shed.
- I wish… for stretch satin ballet flats in every existing colour and swishing white or cream knee-length silk skirts.
- I wish… for soft, creamy-pale skin that’s clearer than purest crystal.
- I wish… that either a close friend or a band I love would write a beautiful song specifically about me.
- I wish… for hundreds of jars of beautiful beads and buttons, tins filled with feathers and antique stamps, and boxes upon boxes of highly decorated fabrics, vintage lace, shining crystals and unusual photographs.
- I wish... I could drive a beautiful, cream-coloured VW Beetle that never lets me down.
- I wish… for a fairytale ball gown that that makes me look like a princess. A dress that is as dazzling as a firework show, as big and puffy and sweet as fluffy-marshmallow, made from luscious lace, breath-taking tulle and sumptuous silk.
- I wish… for a cake as special as everyone I love. It would be three foot tall and decorated with rainbow icing, edible sparkles, marzipan hearts, sugar flowers, hundreds of sweets, sprinkles and candles of every colour, and I’d share it with all of my darling friends and family.
- I wish… for an enchanted tea party on the edge of a pretty forest on a warm, sunny day. All my friends would turn up dressed in elaborate and eccentric clothes, sip coffee or tea from mismatched flowery cups and saucers, nibble on sugar-coated treats, sway to the peculiar background music and discuss the weirdest topics. I’d take a thousand photographs and give all my guests glittering bottles of bubble mixture. Everyone would be having a magical time. The party would last from noon until night, the whole long table lighting up with twinkling Christmas lights when the sun sets and it would end with a firework display of such tremendous beauty that it would be talked about for months.
- I wish… for a hug that makes my heart stutter and my head spin and my legs turn to jelly.
- I wish… that, on a bad morning one day, I could encounter an incredibly kind stranger that makes my day so much brighter.
- I wish… for an entire day in which the whole world feels absolute love, peace and happiness that is so complete it leaves us all dazed and thankful for the rest of our lives.
