• enemies to friends (to lovers), especially when both characters inspire growth and development in each other!!!
• trains. as a setting, as a plot device, long distance friendship/relationships.... trains. i love them
• sci-fi and futuristic settings, when handled well (ie not some Utopian Wonderland, still with economic issues and a complex landscape.... but also cool tech and shit) space operas, that kind of thing!!
• solarpunk!!!! PLANTS!
• AUs. all of the aus (mundane magic, pacific rim, college, coffee shop, flower shop, movie theater, space, ready player one, harry potter!!!, cat cafe, author/writer, lawyer/client, political au, MUSIC AUS!!!!, dance au, orchestra au, marching band au, domestic fluff au, pirate au, mythology au, medieval au......)

Dislikes:

• rape, non-con, dub-con, any question of consent (ie sex pollen, mind control)
• power imbalances (student/teacher or significant age differences, etc, when in a romantic context. not big on D/s either)
• love triangles. i am so tired of love triangles
• A/B/O (just not around me, please)
• terminal illness
• homophobia / transphobia / general bigotry being a significant part or focus of the plot (obviously realistic mentions are important and I'm totally on board with them! i just don't want the plot to revolve around it, there's enough of that irl, thanks. I'd rather it be a sideplot than the focus)
