So, whether it was bad luck on a block or an unexpected attack, you've been killed. What happens now?

Well, first of all, you're allowed to participate in RP until the actions go through. I'll notify you in the private channel when actions go through and you are officially dead.

I'm holding you all underneath the honour system to not give hints to anybody that you're dead or participate in RP after you've died. Joking around OOC in the IC chats is fine, but actually IC roleplaying is a no-go.

If even one of you does something like share that they're dead before the body has been discovered or keeps roleplaying after being dead, the OOC memeing privileges get taken away, so please play nice or I cry. There are mechanics in place to make sure you're found relatively quickly (hopefully).

Once your body discovery has gone through, you are not at all allowed to interfere in the trial or investigation with any hints. You can make comments, but you can't unmask the killer or share a critical piece of evidence. If there's something you're not sure if you can share or not, just @ me and ask me, and I'll be right there with an answer!

Additionally, you'll get a fancy 'victim' role that lets everyone know that you are very dead.

If you were executed, you will get a 'blackened' role that reminds everyone of your crimes. Also, if you were executed, the next two paragraphs apply to both you and any victims.

You may will your worldly possessions to the living in private channel, general chat, or wherever. This can include items important to your character [i.e. clothing items or key items they always carried, or even something associated with them], presents they were holding, and coins they were holding.

If your character discovered any truths about the overarching mystery [Hope Bullets, more on that in Inventory] but didn't share for any reason, the evidence of this truth can be found in their room to help their classmates moving forward.
