{ bobby's achievements as a member of ikon, unless otherwise stated } ikon is a seven-membered boy group formed by yg entertainment and is based on south korea. they debuted with their warm-up single 취향저격 (my type) on september 15, 2015. their debut album welcome back, however, was split into two releases― the half album, which contained six tracks; and the full album in two versions: green and red, which contained five out of the six tracks from the half album plus five new ones, and a remix rock version of one of their title tracks "rhythm ta". they released seven singles out of the total twelve tracks from the album, all seven singles having its own music video. ikon's debut was a huge success, setting many new records for any kpop group acts.

• since the release of their warm-up single my type on september 15th 2015, the song:
  • got 18 melon roof-hits. (meaning, the amount of people streaming the song at the same time in the number one music streaming app in korea melon was too high that it hit the chart roof.)
    • this makes ikon the very first kpop group to hit the melon roof with their debut song. (and they didn't hit it just once, but 18 times!)
  • received a certified all-kill (meaning, the song claimed the number one spot on all eight major korean music charts.) from instiz.
    • making ikon the first group ever to debut with a certified all-kill.
  • won the weekly popularity award on melon for five consecutive weeks! (september 28th, and all mondays of october 2015.)
    • note: melon weekly popularity award is announced every mondays.
  • despite only being released on the last quarter of 2015, it sold 1,026,575+ digital sales by the end of the year.
    • making them the only rookie group to sell over a million in 2015.
    • along with their company senior bigbang, they are the only groups to ever sell over a million in the entire 2015!
  • received 3 awards from music shows. (one from mbc's show! music core and two from sbs' inkigayo.)
    • by which two won without them making their official debut appearance on any music shows.
  • got a triple crown on gaon chart. (the national chart of south korea.)
    • this means the song took the number one spot on the digital chart, download chart, and streaming chart. my type was number one on all three for the 39th week of the year 2015 (from september 13 to september 19).
  • won song of the year on the gaon chart kpop awards for the month of september 2015.
  • [ !!! ] peaked on third position on billboard's world digital songs chart by october 3rd 2015.

  • upon the first 24 hours of my type's music video release on youtube, it had 1,700,000+ views.
  • was also a huge success on china.
    • the music video for my type took the number one spot on the mv chart and kpop mv chart of china's biggest music streaming site, qq music.
    • it was also number one on this week's new song mv chart and kpop mv chart on youku, china's biggest video site.
  • was confirmed to be the best-selling song of 2015 by a rookie group.
  • fun fact: since my type was a "warm-up single", they achieved all those aforementioned achievements without any promotions! :")
• ikon made their official debut and released welcome back (debut half album) on october 1st 2015 which had six tracks, two of which are singles: airplane, a melow sad song, and a hiphop track rhythm ta.
  • rhythm ta:
    • by far the second best-selling song of ikon, garnering half a million sales by the end of 2015.
    • received an award from mnet's m! countdown on october 8th 2015.
• yg entertainment announced that the release of the full version of the album will be moved from november 2nd to december 24th, but to make it up to the fans, they released two new singles: 지못미 (apology) by the whole group, and 이리오너라 (anthem) by bobby and b.i, ikon's first sub-unit.

• ikon won the best male rookie award five times: on the 2015 melon music awards, 2015 mnet asian music awards, 2016 seoul music awards, 2016 golden disk awards and on the 5th gaon chart k-pop awards (2016). if that ain't slayage then idek what is.
• ikon won the best group award on the 2015 netease attitude awards in china.
• as of the end of 2015, ikon has a total of 20 melon roof-hits.

• ikon held a series of fanmeet events all across of japan and china, called ikontact (with a total of 26,600 attendees on japan alone), while simultaneously promoting and holding fansigning events in korea during the whole duration of their debut era promotions. just proving their foreign popularity relevancy. go get em cash boys.
• by the end of the debut era promotions, ikon has a total of eight music show wins.
