- I used to have 4 TV stations, unless it was a particular kind of weather day, then I could pick up the station from Virginia that aired Little House on the Prairie
- Phones with cords and rotary dial
- Didn't used to have 911
- Computers (we had a couple at my elementary school - the really big, old kind - and you had to sign up to use it on your lunch hour
- Typing class - we used typewriters
- The INTERNET
- Albums, 8 tracks, cassettes, CDs (in my 10th grade English class, we had this guy come show us things we would be using in the future, and he had this thing called a compact disc that he showed us LOL)
- Walkmen have evolved into mp3 players
- We were taught that dinosaurs disappered and we had no idea why. Now, it's widely accepted that a cataclysmic impact from space killed the dinosaurs.
- We know now that birds evolved from dinosaurs.
- There used to be an East Germany and a West Germany. ha
