- a father having a meal with his kid(s) as if no other activity could bring him more contentment & joy
- when a couple gets a table with a booth-seat on one side, and they choose to sit side-by-side on the booth instead of opposite each other
- when a middle-aged couple secretly pays the bill for another table where a man and his wheelchair-bound mom is sat, only leaving them a note "you (probably the mom) remind me of someone very dear to my heart." (note to self that I should learn from them & do more random acts of kindness)

- there are SO many ways to avoid single-use plastics. Saying no to plastic bags and cutlery and juice bottles etc.
- packing your own reusable cutlery & food container & cloth shopping bags & water bottles in your daily bag whenever you go out in case you want to buy something you see or take away food
- not accepting plastic straws. bringing your own metal or glass straws! every plastic straw discarded means potentially another olive ridley sea turtle or sea bird choking and dying from it.
- when grocery shopping, putting fruits & veg straight into carts or into shopping bags rather than into those plastic bags from the rolls provided near the fruit section. the 'dirt' in the carts shouldn't matter too much bc we thoroughly wash our fruits & veg before cooking/eating them at home anyway!

- firstly, recycling is not the solution to plastic pollution - reusing or not using them at all is! - an animal, powerless compared to humans, feels a lot of fear for its life before it is slaughtered
- full of exploitation, the egg and dairy industry causes enormous suffering; cows - affectionate, forgiving and highly emotional creatures - are forcefully impregnated (raped basically) at least a few times in one lifetime for their continuous milk production. This involves them being restrained in devices that farmers term 'rape racks'.
- Often they are killed after 5 years when their bodies are too worn out for more pregnancy or lactating, when their natural average lifespan is in fact around 20 years.
- their calves are mostly separated from them immediately after birth. being emotional they feel the same as when a human mom gets her newborn baby ripped from her.
