- Drink green tea
- Write a story or poem or rant in my notebook
- Listen to music
- Snap a rubber band against my wrist
- Dig my nails into my skin
- Write "coffee is bad for you" on the front of my school books
- Remember that coffee = pimples and bumps, in my case
- Overanalyze my addiction for drinking coffee in Freudian terms (stuck in the oral stage).
- Do sun salutations, if the situation permits
- Do a one minute mindfulness exercise
- Squeeze a stress ball
- Keep a Dunkin Donuts cup and drink water, tea, etc. out of it instead of coffee
