- please don't follow if you support gatekeeping of any sort in fanworks. i do not believe that fiction=reality (very tired of this argument... it's like saying 1st POV shooter video games make kids violent murderers...) yes fiction has an influence on reality but not to that extent, and writing about/consuming something doesn't mean you support it irl.
- we all have our traumas and i cope with mine by writing voraciously, so i understand why others also do that. please let them be. creative freedom is something i believe in.
- if something makes you uncomfortable, just turn your eyes away. block. mute. it's as simple as that.
