What a beautiful face I have found in this place that is circling all round the sun. What a beautiful dream that could flash on the screen in a blink of an eye and be gone from me. Let me hold it close and keep it here with me. And one day we will die and our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea. But for now we are young, let us lay in the sun and LIST every beautiful thing we see.

Forgotten hamsters - can’t remember their names

A special thing to care for another creature so different from yourself...and find love and friendship between you.

  • angel --an angel fish I had for quite a long time. she's buried in my parent's backyard.
  • duchess --my best friend for ten years. she behaved much like a dog and I was devastated when she died.
  • smokey --my big jack rabbit that was eaten by a neighbor's dog.
  • duke --found duke in the street and kept him. he was a very horny bunny.

  • toby --a bunny I gave to one of my students who lost her mother to drug addiction.
  • raju --my second cat I adopted from a rescue organization. she passed away from cancer in 2005. she was 13 and my guardian.
  • ripley --my third cat who was soft as a bunny and had a foot phobia. she was a feral cat I adopted from people who found her on the train tracks. she lived for 12 years.
