Funny fights:

• Whether or not it was a dead car battery that made our car not start and Adam not texting John to come help us. As I was asking him to...
• Adam not wanting to text someone a vital question for planning because he thought they might be driving
• whether you can permanently delete email in your google account.
• whether to spend 10 more mins using the rest of our credit at Macy's ($8.00) or carry around a gift card forever. I won and bought socks.
• adam using the dish cloth to scrub burnt cheese in the frying pan
• what street tailwaggers was on
• me telling adam to try green tea over caffeinated coffee
• whether to text jason cause he was late to dinner
• whether "bad lieutenant" was cut for commercials on ifc
• who suggested to return to honda and buy the honda fit instead of the nissan
• if you trim the hedges, whether you could see downtown LA or not
• when I took all the cds out of their cases and put them in albums and got rid of the jewel cases
• who created our bulk section in the kitchen
• who was following who in the new york snow and got us separated

• whether our neighborhood walk was better for dog walking or the beverly hills neighborhood walk

Mishaps:

• fingers in the window --adam got both hands stuck in a window when trying to repair it once
• malka's bookcase through the window --adam almost threw my roommate's bookcase through a window trying to lift it...he broke some glass
• hammerhead --adam hit his head with a hammer trying to pry off a nail and pulling too hard
• trippin --adam falling in the crowded streets in florence italy

My peeves: with a wink...

• when he pulls to the furthest gas pump
• when I've had surgery or an injury, he somehow always touches me there by accident
• when he won't honk at a driver who did something lame or life threatening
• he won't let me tuck in the sheets at the bottom
• when i get mad about something in the world, he'll tell me to calm down but then he's allowed to get all huffy about something
• when he falls asleep during a movie cause he's so relaxed
• when he bumps into me or walks too close to me on the street
• that he likes M&Ms
• licking his lips before kissing
• the amount of holes he will allow in his jeans
• when he won't return the stools after using them
• that he always leaves a single pube on the sink somehow
• when adam pees on the seat because his contacts are out
• water all over the toilet seat from face washing, etc, and then discovering it when you sit to pee
• when he gets jimmy legs in bed
• when it looks like a water tsunami hit the bathroom after he uses it
• when he grows hair-flaps
• when he steals my jokes
• his indecisveness
• when he says "listen" or "stop" before talking
• using too many water glasses
• when he remembers dialogue incorrectly
• when he doesn't remember appropriate signs/markers (like where we parked or which way on a hike)
• when he falls asleep right when we start to read in bed
• his trepidation or embarrassment
• when he won't break even the smallest silliest rule or law
• when he doesn't spark things up when he cooks and sticks to basics (broccoli a la mac and cheese)
• when he barfs when he drinks too much (sensitive tummy)
• it use to be that he'd leave his hair & toenail clippings on the bathroom floor that would then cover my feet when wet
• when he leaves coffee grounds all over the darn place
• when he takes a really long time to tell a story (esp if it's about fractals, geometry, steve jobs talk or something)
• when he goes into over stimulated mode when he smokes
• that he's so darn punctual
• that lots of things upset his tummy but he eats them anyway
• when we're out walking and he tells me his hips hurt (like an old man)
• when he won't buy a single new article of clothing (he has maybe 10 pairs of clothing a decade old)
• when he comes in and says "i'm doing yoga" with a hint of superiority
• when he picks at his feet in shared spaces
• that he can eat whatever he wants and doesn't gain an ounce of weight
• when "he does it, it's ok, but when i do it, it's not ok" situation
• when he snaps himself awake with a snore after being asleep for 10 mins and then says he wasn't asleep
• when he won't park in the most obvious closest parking space at the destination --even while i'm pointing it out
• when he won't skip out on work even a little early because of his work ethic
• taking on too many projects at once
• when he's calls listography "my" website when he doesn't want to work on it and "his" when he's stoked on it
• that he cuts his own hair
• when he grows facial hair to spite me
• when he gets pissed about interfaces on tvs, computers, etc.
• when he touches me like a gorilla
• when he cautiously asks if we can listen to tangerine dream
• that he avoids little household chores
• the "screens!"
• when he gets to the leftovers for lunch before me
• when he complains about not having a winter coat for years but won't shop for one

His peeves: with a wink

• that i won't eat pasta without a nice bread
• throwing away receipts too early
• the time I removed all the cds from their cases and put them into cd albums (then we had to put them all back to sell them)
• when I put too many pages into the paper shredder
• the time I spray painted a chair in the house and got dizzy
• the time I made my mom postcards and overdid it with a spray scent in the house
• getting our car dent fixed (made worse) by a traveling car repair vagrant that accosted me while driving next to me
• not facing on-coming traffic on street corners when waiting for lights to change
• painting walls without taping down borders or putting down newspaper
• not reading the directions for how to do something
• leaving food in the sink (esp 20% of my remaining cereal)
• not completely drying his socks or jeans but trying to sneak them in with his finished laundry
• impatience (not in everyday life situations, only with things not working around the house, like my computer, etc or if I need adam to do something for me)
• staring at everything in stores like I'm hypnotized or being indecisive, esp at Target
• buying anything old fashioned or old lady like. ie: days of the week vitamin holder
• checking the whole house a bunch of times before we go on a trip
• when I take photos of him in his boxers
• when I talk about what's certainly wrong with my health, even though chances are it's not
• my night blindness on the road making me feel like we're going to hit everyone
• when he'll suggest something and then I take off with the idea thinking it's decided
• when I wrestle with him (because as he says I grew up without siblings so I didn't get it out of my system)
• when I delete or throw away something he needs/wants (such as two spoonfuls of ice cream in a tub that I think is done)
• my endless computer questions that I holler at him from another room
• when I play practical jokes on him
• when we go out and I want to do quick stops in girly shops (though the iphone has helped with this)
• when I want to do a bunch of errands in one day (my energy capacity when it comes to errands)
• when I point out flaws
• when I don't bring appropriate clothing when we go out somewhere
• when I stock up on groceries, such as buying three things of dish washing soap
• that I sing everything, including sentences
• when I pull his boxers down while he's talking or walking around
• when I talk to him through the door when he's going #2
• when I organize his things (though sometimes he likes it)
• when I don't appear to be listening
• drying clothing of his that aren't suppose to be dried
• when I'm running late when we have to be somewhere
• when I think something is wrong with our dog
