- my mom is really neurotic. i wonder where I got it from.
- she likes to complain about things she can't help/can't prevent. things like the weather. and when my dad calls her out on it, she gets really embarrassed and quiet.
- my dad lets her drive the car. meaning, our automobiles.
- well, and the marriage "car", for that matter.
- but he secretly loves it!
- my dad can control a room like no man I've seen ever before, besides maybe Bill Lynch.
- they balance each other out in a way that a marriage should be.
- they still make sex jokes, (to me sometimes as well) which is gross, but good for them. because they're still kickin'!
- the way they parent is so specific to each of their children, they should have a doctorate in parenting. because they're really good at it.
- my mom sometimes likes to pretend she's cooler than she is. for instance, saying how much of a cool parent she is. and being okay with me being nude. it's really cute.
