- it's honestly an identity that confuses me
- in general though, i consider myself as half and half of filipino-american and filipino cause there's actually a divide from that from my experience
- the thing that people don't really see, is the contemplation of two homes because something that divides the two is that, filipino-americans wouldn't have the thought considering the Philippines as home if they haven't lived there, and vice versa with filipinos
- filipinos in this context are the filipinos who just moved here, they consider the philippines home basically
- i guess lean towards more of being filipino-american since I don't really see myself settling in the philippines, but id wanna visit and work and stuff there
- but you come to the us, once you say you lived in the philippines, you now entirely a filipino who don't know much about american culture, vice versa when you're in the philippines
- for you both are home but then like, they see you the other on both parties
