- make lists
- try writing with the hand you don't normally use
- doodling
- the light fixture game (if there was an earthquake, who would get hit by the light fixtures--doesn't work with recessed lighting)
- bring your laptop--endless possibilities
- stare at the weird kid
- ask stupid, irrelevant questions
- text message on your cell
- actually take notes (which is what I should be doing)
- play MASH (you know it, you played it in middle school)
- count stuff--like how many times your professor makes a stupid gesture
- well, or just fall asleep, you might as well if your not paying attention--sleep is good
