several months ago I did this list, but my names have changed rather drastically since then, so I decided to try it again :)

  • Alice ▹ she thought Alice was nice, and that it had grown on her over the months, apparantly because I never seem to shut up about it.
  • Cornelia ▹ although she didn't really mind it at first, in the end she said she disliked it for being too fanciful and posh.
  • Dorothy ▹ she thought it was hopelessly and old fashioned and dated beyond recovery, but still a little cute.
  • Georgiana ▹ she prefers other female George names, such as Georgia and Georgina, but she thought Georgiana was okay.
  • Frances ▹ she really adores Frances and would be over the moon if I used it on a daughter of mine, as it is her second middle name.
  • Hazel ▹ she really likes Hazel and said it was nice and normal compared to my other names (which I don't particularly think are very crazy, haha).
  • Juniper ▹ she passionately detests this one, and thought it would be unfortunate for a girl to share a name with a berry.
  • Matilda ▹ she loved this one and thought it was very fun, sweet and versatile, as she could see it on an adult and a child.
  • Poppy ▹ she still think it's a little bit childish, but still really nice, especially in the middle name spot (which I wholeheartedly agree with!)
  • Rosalind ▹ she found Rosalind beautiful, but too strong and butch for a little girl to deal with. She prefers shorter Rose names.
  • Susanna ▹ She think it's very sweet.
  • Sybil ▹ she absolutely abhors Sybil, despite being a huge Downtown Abbey fan, even going as far as saying it's disgusting.
  • Thomasina ▹ she thought a daughter of mine called this would be embarrassed and not very thankful, haha. I sort of agree, but I would use Thomasina as a middle.
  • Violet ▹ she really wasn't keen on Violet, as it sounds like violent in her Irish accent. She thought it would be an inevitable nickname, sadly.

boy names will be added when I actually have some!
