Let the butterfly fly She wants to be free Needs to grow strong And forget everything- that went wrong Wants to feel that caress once more Live in the world - not a cage Spread those wings Let out a sigh She doesn't seem to move about Lingers forward Crashes into the wall She doesn't like falling Already spiraled out of control Heartbeat - quickens everytime Tries this flying thing once again She's not happy - but yet she's in the air Finally free, finally flying

Begins to think of thy Crashes to the ground again Will she ever fly again? Lost, wounded, unmoving, unthinking Wings spread open But she's not going to try again Not today atleast She'll save it for another time Another place, another face Finally free, finally flying
