Just gonna jot down my thoughts and reactions (as well as Pokemon caught) to Pokemon Violet here! I don't want to livetweet so I don't spoil anyone. But yeah, spoilers ahead, obviously.

• FULL TRAINER CUSTOMIZATION FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!? HECK YEAH!
• The opening cutscene was nice!
• Bro, when can I take this hat off because it covers my ponytail and looks weird.
• The detail of our house is beautiful.
• The grass outside isn't. But that's okay.
• Full 360 camera and mini map! I'm so excited for the open world.
• The music is nice.
• Getting to walk around with the starters before choosing is so cute!
• I chose Sprigatito and named him Catnip.
• I like Nemona!
• I'm so glad she chose Quaxly so I can see it more because I love it just slightly less than Sprigatito.
• Thank Arceus the items on the ground glow so you can see them easier.
• I spent like an hour on the first route alone just exploring, catching Pokemon, and battling!
• I love the quick heal feature!
• I decided to just catch one of everything to work on the full Pokedex as I go instead of all at the end of the game like I did with Shield.
• I caught two Lechonk. One male and one female since I know they look different when they evolve. I named the boy Bacon and the girl Ham.
• I caught Tarountula and named her Silky.
• I caught a Scatterbug and named it Pixel. Let me just list things I catch each route at once.
• Bud the Pawmi. Puffball the Hoppip.
• Omg the Hoppip going in circles around you when you stand still is so cute!
• Feathers the Fletchling.
• Oh wow! Houndour on the first route?
• Boof the Houndour.
• Oh no, Miraidon is hurt!
• How... did the Rotom phone save you from falling by you hanging on to it and floating? How can a Rotom inside of a phone support the weight of a human? I have questions, Nintendo.
• Feeding Miraidon the sandwich was so sweet SOBS.
• It protects you in the cave, aww!
• The purple pearlescent sheen it has is so pretty.
• Yungie the Yungoos. Nubs the Diglett.
• The glowing moss in the cave is gorgeous.
• Level 40 Houndoom? Uhh... HALP!
• Miraidon helps! Baby!
• When it scoops you up and flies off, aww!
• I love Miraidon so much. Its pixel eyes!
• Oh. I really didn't expect Arven to be a jerk.
• Or the professor's son. I should of known by the hair. His hair is cool though btw.
• Why is he so mean to Miraidon?
• Him and/or his dad time travel, don't they? I'm calling it.
• Yay, Arven gives us Miraidon. Well, just to ride and stuff and not to have entirely. Since it's a legendary.
• I've only known Miraidon for 20 minutes. But if anything happened to them, I'd- "Okay, we get it. You love Miraidon."
• Seeing Hoppip's walk and not just fly is bizarre.
• Tylenol the Psyduck.
• I really love the Pokedex pictures.
• Azurill smol... Baby.
• Bubbles the Azurill. Pilot the Wingull. Longboi the Wiglett. Karper the Magikarp. Jim the Buizel.
• Omg, I love that they brought back the feature from LA where you can freely switch out between the 4 moves your Pokemon knows.

• Wow. This world is overwhelmingly large. There's so much to explore.
• Pompom the Oricorio. Sunny the Sunkern. Gnaws the Chewtle.
• Oh, thank Arceus the EXP candies are back.
• So you run into random Gimmighoul to give you coins?
• Seriously, this world is crazy big.
• Trainer battles are optional now, ayyyy. I guess they have to be with this being open world now.
• WHY did they bring back Sleep and Frozen!? LA changing them to Drowsy and Frostbite was so much better. Made them a much more even playing field with the other status conditions...
• Snooze the Drowzee.
• Man, the Gimmighoul's are so tiny and hard to see. But this really is like the wisp's in LA.
• Yolk the Happiny.
• Dang it, I'm out of pokeballs...
• Found a few pokeballs, cool.
• You can find Ralts this early on!?
• Lady the Ralts.
• TOTALLY FREAKED WHEN I SAW FIDOUGH. BABYYYYYY!
• Sugar the Fidough. Poofy the Igglybuff.
• I tried to name the Igglybuff Poof but Nintendo said I couldn't use that name?
• Oh? You can register your birthday at the Pokemon Center. She said to come back on your birthday. I hope I don't forget.
• Majesty the Bounsweet. Tree the Bonsly. Cheeks the Skwovet. Inky the Shroodle. Ash the Pichu.
• Finally figured out how to remove the hat.
• So Nemona gets to terastallize in the second battle but we can't? Ugh.
• Too bad for her though. She talked about more power for her Pawmi and I sent out Angel. Electric doesn't affect Ground lol.

• Oh yay, I can terastallize.
• Jeez, Mesagoza is GIGANTIC.
• Alright, it's been 6 hours so I'm going to sleep now!
• Alright, back at it.
• Okay, Arven is a bit less of an jerk now?
• His Flabebe phone case is adorable.
• Oh, so this starts the Path of Legends route. I hope we're not locked to one arc and can't do the others. With no level scaling and stuff, I don't want to breeze through the others. I really, really want to do a little bit of each one all simultaneously. I really hope I can.
• Oh? Someone hacked our phone? Futaba, is that you? Lol.
• If Team Star don't show up to class and do nothing but bully and cause trouble... why not suspend or expell them? Why does the school just not know what to do with them?
• I have a guess at who the hacker is, I think.
• Okay cool. I got the Victory Road path started too. So I can do more than one at once.
• I'm surprised it took this long to meet the professor. Oof.
• "Turo, don't tell me you actually did it..." What, time travel? Seems quite obvious lol.
• Alright, now Operation Starfall is unlocked too.
• Finally, I can ride Miraidon!
• Got my flying Tera type Pikachu!
• Pixel evolved into Spewpa!
• Did my first Tera raid battle and got a dark Tera type Litleo! Named her Queen.
• Crystal the bug Tera type Bounsweet. Reaper the ground Tera type Starly.
• Hatched Jaws the Fuecoco! Thanks to my friend for breeding one for me!
• Bambi the Deerling. Skates the Surskit.
• Found the recommended order to go in if you want to do all 3 paths simultaneously and I'm gonna follow that since there's no level scaling.
• Floof the Mareep. Troublemaker the Maschiff.
• I just realized the brilliance of of the legendaries names. Koraidon and Miraidon. Korai is ancient in Japanese. Mirai is future in Japanese. And then raidon. Ride on. You can ride on them in the games. I love it.
• I went off in the opposite direction of where I needed to go just to check it out. Lots of cool Pokemon but too high leveled for me right now. Including my first wild Tera Pokemon. It was a normal type Scyther but I had to run because it was too strong. I did manage to barely capture a Flittle though. Named him Cleo.
• Found a Smoliv! Naming him Doll.
• Climbed to the top of the tower on the way to the first gym and it paid off because I caught a Gimmighoul! Named them Treasure.
• Skipping most of the route because I really just wanna battle the first gym leader.
• Mariocraft the Nacli. Mario since Nacli looks like a Mario mushroom and craft from Minecraft since it's evolutions like they're from that lol.
• I found an Eevee but accidentally fainted it :(.
• Defeated Katy! I OHKO'd her first two. But her Tera Teddiursa turned around and OHKO'd almost all of my mons.
• Taking a break for a while.
• I'm back! I've been gone all day oof.
• Back tracking to the route before the town since I skipped most of it to go straight to the gym.
• Saw tons of Combee and finally found a female. Named her Buzzy. Plasma the Tadbulb.
• Catnip evolved into Floragato!
• Floragato Naruto runs behind you omg lol.
• Stopping already for a bit because I have to do something else in another game that's time-sensitive.
• Am back.
• Got excited because I saw a Flabebe! Named her Bloom. Got a Flying type Spoink from a raid and named it Springy. Found a Flying type Meowth and named her Rascal.
• I'm gonna just start listing all the Pokemon I caught at the end of my playthroughs because I hate having to update this every 2 seconds when catching something oof.
• Jaws evolved into Crocalor! Egg hat...
• I also found my first shiny! I'll talk about it later because there is a story.
• Quitting for a bit to play another game. But here are the Pokemon I caught and the shiny story.
• Blossom the Flabebe (orange flower this time, Bloom is a blue flower.) Maku the Makuhita. Rook the Dark type Rookidee. Symphony the Kricketot. Amy Rose the Tinkatink (so happy to finally find one!) Ring the Bronzor. Cotton Candy the shiny Mareep! Flame the Fire type Fletchling. Candy Floss the shiny Mareep!
• So, the game shiny baited me yesterday and I thought that I saw a shiny Mareep but it was just the shade. I was sad. But today, I turned around after catching Amy Rose and boom! Shiny Mareep sleeping on the cliff. I thought my eyes were lying again so I engaged battled and sparkles on the pink sheep! So I went down the hill and there were a flock of Mareep. And another pink sheep among then! So I caught not one but TWO shiny Mareep! It's like the game felt bad for tricking me, so it was like "Okay here's your pink sheep for real this time. And have another too." Out of all shinies... Mareep is one of my fav shinies.
• Back!
• Cotton Candy evolved into Flaaffy!
• Not much to sag because I've done nothing story wise. Just explored and caught Pokemon.
• Snow the Ice type Diglett. Alaska the Ice type Bonsly. Goodyear the Phanpy. Jalapeño the Capsakid.
• After this, I gave up on nicknames for now because it's exhausting trying to think of so many. But I'll nickname them later. But I caught Skiddo, Nymble, Mankey, Gastly, Misdreavus, Rockruff, Mudbray, Swablu, Flying type Wiglett, Characadet (!!!), Ice type Buizel, Murkrow, Dunsparce, and Toxel.
• My friend traded me a Quaxly! So now I have all 3 starters.
• I tried a picnic for the first time. It was cute! I didn't make a sandwich yet because I knew I wasn't gonna play long and I didn't want to waste the powers. While I did all that, I got an egg. It Hatched to a Fuecoco. I didn't know what it'd be, but Jaws was the mom. Idk who the dad was. It was either Catnip, Quaxly, or Sugar. Idk which are the same egg groups. My wild guess was it was Catnip.
• Just did some more exploring and catching. I caught Riolu, Scyther, Hatenna, Flabebe (red flower), Petilil, Wattrel, Ghost type Rockruff, and Toedscool.
• Okay, so I'm once again skipping most of the routes because it's been too long since I've seen any story. So I started going towards the first Titan Pokemon.
• On the way there though, I found a mass outbreak of Shuppet's! Banette is my 2nd fav Pokemon of all time so I was happy.
• I tried and tried to find a shiny with no luck. So I decided to try and breed for one. Which I've never had luck with in the past. But we'll see. I caught a girl right away but took me like 30+ to find a boy rip. It's 50/50 gender odds so idek why it was being like that.
• Side note, the glitches in this game make me laugh. I've not had the super funny ones like others. But I keep getting ones where my trainer turns invisible, npc's turn invisible, and now some Shuppet's turned invisible in battle. Funny battling air.
• Also, Amy Rose evolved into Tinkatuff! I'm happy!
• Anyway, here's what I caught: Zips the Shuppet, Zaps the Shuppet, a Meditite, a Normal type Scyther, a Shinx, and a Tandemaus!
• Caught a Squawkabilly! A blue one.
• Fought against the Rock Titan and beat it easily.
• Arven is much less of a jerk now. He's actually pretty cool. I don't understand his beef with Miraidon though.
• I love Miraidon coming out of the ball to beg for the sandwich! And it gives you the option whether you want to or not. Obviously, I fed my baby. Thems hungry. Sorry not sorry, Arven. Nice of him to give me half of his sandwich though.
• Hmm. What Pokemon did Arven say "it's okay, you can come out now." To? My guess is a Paradox Pokemon.
• I'm really glad I avoided story spoilers. It's fun being able to see it all and guess things.
• Miraidon can dash now. Thank Arceus.
• Caught a yellow and a green Squawkabilly!
• OOF it's been like almost 2 weeks since I've played. I NEVER take this long with a Pokemon game! But there's so much to explore. And I've also been busy and exhausted.
• Challenged Brassius, the second gym leader. OHKO'd his entire team. Well, I would of OHKO'd his Sudowoodo if not for its Sturdy ability. Anyway, he was surprisingly easier than Katy.
• Caught a water type Tynamo!
• I have been SO slow at playing oof.
• Sugar evolved into Dachsbun!
• I beat the Flying Titan pretty easily.
• I definitely cried at Arven's Mabosstiff...
• So, I did the Dark Team Star crew now. It was also pretty easy. I thought the battling style was really unique!
• I really like Giacomo. I wonder what the story is... I know there's more to Team Star because I saw spoilers, I just don't know what it is yet. But I'm kinda attached to them already.
• Caught a Paldean Tauros!
• Caught a Steenee!
• Challenged Iono too! I won. I struggled a little. But she wasn't bad. I don't like using Ground types much, so I always struggle with Electric types a little more. Her Luxio and whatever the first Pokemon was, I forgot, they were easy. Bellibolt was annoying because of its ability. And her Electric Mismagius gave me some issues. But I won fairly easily. I'm finally close to a 3rd of the way done because I'm pushing my way through the story and will deal with exploring later. Just sick of seeing spoilers lol.

• Defeated Mela in the Fire Team Star base!
• I found a random shiny Voltorb.
• I'm gonna stop updating this. I'm taking an embarrassingly long time to play this game. And I think doing this list is putting some pressure on me. I really need to not have pressure so I can try and finish the main story before the DLC comes out.
