• BENJAMIN, son of UNMA, brother of TSERRIEDNICH. he is the deputy military advisor of the kakin royal army. aggressive and self-confident, his goal is to kill all of his siblings, but he has a particularly strong rivalry/hatred for tserriednich. he has sent his men to infiltrate the other princes' quarters in order to study the nen beasts. along with two other princes, he contacted kurapika for more information about the nen parasites.
• CAMILLA, daughter of DUAZUL, sister of TUBEPPA, LUZURUS, and HALKENBERG. she is selfish and greedy. she believes she deserves the crown and her siblings should just die.
• ZHANG LEI, son of TANG ZHAO. he enjoys indulging in luxury and excess. he seems to be more diplomatic than his siblings. he is one of the three princes to contact kurapika, and the one that he ends up talking to first due to shimano.
• TSERRIEDNICH, son of UNMA, brother of BENJAMIN. his interests are wide and sophisticated, but also grotesque. he enjoys torture and the collection of human trophies. he is currently kurapika's target as he is the owner of the last remaining pairs of scarlet eyes. theta agrees to train him in nen in order to have a chance at moderating his power, but unfortunately he seems to be learning nen with inhuman speed. has gained halkenberg's trust somehow.
• TUBEPPA, daughter of DUAZUL, sister of CAMILLA, LUZURUS, and HALKENBERG. she is a scientist, and values modesty and tolerance. she particularly dislikes benjamin for his arrogance, camilla for her greed, and zhang lei for his indulgence in luxury.
• TYSON, daughter of KATRONO. she likes being cute and being pampered by men. she has created a religion with a bible called "the taithon canon" which she hopes will bring about world peace. izunabi is one of her bodyguards.
• LUZURUS, son of DUAZUL, brother of CAMILLA, TUBEPPA, and HALKENBERG. he seems to be a calm person, possibly even kind or charitable. he has declined to learn nen after being told how long it would take to learn. basho is one of his bodyguards.
• SALÉ-SALÉ, son of SWINKO-SWINKO. he indulges in gluttony and is often seen surrounded by scantily-clad women and unfinished food.
• HALKENBERG, son of DUAZUL, brother of CAMILLA, TUBEPPA, and LUZURUS. he is a pacifist and seems to have some capacity for empathy. he has a poor relationship to his mother and sisters and is only close to tserriednich. he feels alienated by his family and seeks to reform the kakin empire.
• KACHO, daughter of SEIKO, twin sister of FUGETSU. she is merciless, planning to murder all of her other siblings, but seems to be close to fugetsu, who she forms an alliance with and plans to spare. melody is one of her bodyguards.
• FUGETSU, daughter of SEIKO, twin sister of KACHO. she seems to be soft-hearted and distressed by the idea of the succession war. seems to be close to kacho and has formed an alliance with her.
• (DECEASED) MOMOZE, daughter of SEVANTI, sister of MARAYAM. her beast attacked woble's bodyguards. her nen beast asks if a person is "free". when a person responds affirmatively, they are taken control of and forced to kill those around them. hanzo is one of her bodyguards, but at sevanti's request, he and most of momoze's bodyguards have been sent to protect marayam.
• MARAYAM, son of SEVANTI, brother of MOMOZE. bisky is one of his bodyguards.
• WOBLE, daughter of OITO. kurapika is one of her bodyguards. her nen beast seems to be able to drain the blood from and kill a person.
