• always acknowledging when i'm in over my head and getting out of the situation before i make a big mistake
    • i'm not quite sure i still do that. i guess when you drop the moral code you've lived by forever, you don't really feel "in over your head" the way you used to.
  • deciding what i want to do with the rest of my life early on so i have less to stress about than the average high school senior
    • well that lasted all of two months. now what?
  • finally saving up a lot of money
  • finding things that i'm really passionate about like music and design
    • fuck design. and i'm no good at music.
  • getting into chamber singers and feeling okay about singing in front of people
    • also trying out for a solo in front of the whole class, that was terrifying
  • i annihilated the ACT and my AP tests
  • i've never gotten into serious trouble, or even come close
    • with the exception of the ticket i got for running a red light. i did, however, get my points back
    • oh and that speeding ticket...
  • successfully going on a roadtrip to new york and not getting lost or attacked
    • i fucking drove myself to tennessee and back. just me and my gps. i used to get lost in my hometown.
  • taking the initiative to move out as soon as i finish high school
  • being one of the 140 people hired to work at costco out of the 4,000 who applied.
  • facing a lot of my fears
    • rollercoasters
    • driving on the freeway. i now drive across the country.
    • heights (climbing waterfalls with brandon)
