- I love this because it will familiarize kids with the scary dictionary, and may teach students the words surrounding their spelling words as well.
- Secret Code Spelling
- Artistic students will love this! I think students will get so lost in making sure they're coding and decoding correctly, they'll forget they're practicing their spelling words!
- Spelling Roll-a-Word
- This would be great for a spelling center: give each student 3–5 words, and have students roll a die to determine what to do with those words.
- Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe
- Spelling homework that offers student choice is fantastic! Gives students a sense of ownership, and these choices are actually pretty fun. To make the sheet last a little longer, have students play it "bingo-style" as well—three weeks of spelling homework covered!
