on an attempt to remember the love i had for bts and their music, i've decided to listen to most of their discography again. im going to list my fav songs from every album and try to recall which were my favorites before. edit: this wasnt supposed to be like this but apparently i have a lot to say about most of their songs

• i need u - the song that started it all, the reason why i became a fan and entered the kpop fandom. this song also reminds me of my friend who also liked kpop and, actually, she was who recommended me this song. when i watched the mv i first liked taehyung i think? but also yoongi. his pink hair fascinated me
• hold me tight - this song is just full of passion, i remember listening to this at the bus a lot of times, it's a really good song for daydreaming sad scenarios. yoongi's part after namjoons rap is the most memorable besides the "can you trust me?"
• dope - ofc i like dope, its just an iconic upbeat song with an amazing choreo. my first memory of it is seen it on the recommended section on youtube (after i listed to i need u for days), i didnt waanted to click it because i was scared that i wont liked and that i would be dissapointed on bts, a group i just became a fan of and only knew one song, and never listen to them again or it would somehow ruin i need u
• boyz with fun - GOD i totally forgot this song, i love it so much. at the upbeat bts songs section this one takes the crown right now, way better than dope. childish fun. makes me want to dance. i also remember dancing a lot to this during 2015
• converse high - chill. nice. its cute i guess. not really one of my faves but i remember reading the translated lyrics and getting really sad at yoongi's rap when he said NEVERMIND i just googled the lyrics and i thought this was the song where he said something about baby's shoes... but he actually said "Anyway, when you meet me, don’t wear Converses. It’s too hard to take them off of you" which also didnt sit well for me
• outro: love is not over - actually i got this one confused with hold me tight wow. i guess they have the passion on common. taehyungs voice is a blessing and the ending part is just beautiful (not jk's part but the part where they dont sing and the background voice gets louder)

• intro: neverming - ok... listen... this song saved me, and im not being over dramatic, it just did, the moment it came out and i watched the mv and i had the eng subs on was the moment that every single cell of my body changed, it changed every depressed atom i had to atoms full of motivation and self love. this song came out as an angel and rescued me from my misery, it motivaded me to go on and i will always be gratefull to Him, my lord and saviour Min Yoongi. now i tak about the song: im listening to it right now and even without the subs i can recall the lyrics by just listening to yoongis tone, his full feelings that i can feel too through his voice, im really teary right now because this song was just a glimpse of what he got to say (which he later did as agust d), we really thought that was all he had to say? we really believed that was all? now remembering how in shock we were back them... we really didnt know what he was preparing himself for.
• run - this is the most close they ever got to do an i need u 2.0. now compating run to their new songs i would say this is i need u 2.0 and we should accept this is the closest they would ever get to it. i dont even think they want an i need u 2.0 but whatever
• butterfly - iconic dramatic song, somehow it should remind me of love is not over and hold me tight but it doesnt... maybe its too soft, too light. it reminds me of filds and daisies. it was on every chill/sad playlist on 8tracks
• whalien 52 - never a fan of this songs, i actually always skipped it even though i knew how deep and personal the lyrics were ffor namjoon... i also remember critisizing namjoon at that time, now that i think about it i didnt liked him for the pettiest reasons, i also thought he was a narcissist and thats why he felt alone in the world and misunderstood. i think i hated him because i actually hated me for being a narcissist and i was projecting on him. though i still think he is narcissistic, but i dont think thats bad anymore.
• ma city - a good song. i dont have much to say about it, i envy them for being proud of the city they were born, i wish i did too but i moved too much to have any bond with my birthcity and all the other cities i lived in weren't that good so...
• baepasae - this songs... the lyrics... just iconic, they cameback to their rebellious and judgmental phase, i love it when they critisize society and their norms, gotta love my edgy boys. its just such a great concept and ideal.
• outro: house of cards_ - mmh? the most sensual song ever? i want this song to get inside of every cell of my body and make me fall in love deeply and then make me have the biggest heartbreak. also this song is so elegant. classy. all i cant thik of rn is jimin blindfolded on the bst mv. wow actually this song would've gone really well with that mv

• danger: i dont have much to say about this one either, jin's and and jimin's part are the most iconic, also in the japanese ver mv yoongi looks cute. all i think is when i went to a kpop convention and some girls did a danger dance cover lmao. also listening to this now i realized how much their voices have changed, mostly jungkook (ofc) and yoongi
• hormone war: good song, ugly lyrics and ugly mv! but yoongi looks cute at least. when i sawe the mv for the first time all i could think at yoongi's part was... wow he really gives me bi vibes... and that was like 2 years ago. i predicted it. also !!! taehyung looks very charismatic i biased him for a while after watching this mv
• let me know: GIRL LET ME KNOW.....I JUST WANNA KNOW KNOW KNOW. i also lisstened to this alot while traveling, i just love this style of songs they do!!! like love is not over and hold me tight, they are just so great. thi songs remind me of taehyung mmm didnt he write or produce this song or one of the others? idk but its great thanks tae even if you didnt write it
• rain: just nice
• cypher: killer part.3: WELCOME TO THE MONSTER PLAZA what is there to say? everybody knows. this is their best cypher imo, they truly went off, and i dont even know who to choose as the best in this song, they all really shine. and dont forget the iconic "whetever is a guy or a girl, my tongue will make you come" chop chop chop the straights off dear yoongi
• blanket kick_: this song is just so cute?? and the lyrics too!!! very relaxing too
• look here: lmao isnt this the song that's similar to pharrel's song mmmh anyways bts did better

• boy in luv: this mv is seriously so fucked up, i will have nightmares for the rest of my life because of yoongi's part with the girl. good song tho
• just one day: do it do it do it. best bts song? probably. at least their best from the old ones i mean, this song is just perfect. yoongi's and tae's parts [heart emojis]. i remember i used this song for one of my chill playlists on 8tracks when i just discovered kpop, tha playlist was a mess because it had a mixture on western indie songs and kpop and it had a pic of jimin as the cover.
• tomorrow: this song, with nevermind, were the ones that saved me, im glad they atill are on a pure place on my heart and mind. its just really motivating but at the same time good for when your so stressed about lacking or feeling like you're missing out or being left behind by life, it reminds me that there is always a tomorrow and i shouldnt be so scare
• spinebreaker: lalalalala ye ye ye ye ye, i kinda miss this kind of songs they used to do :(
