▌ the kitchen ▌

• peeling the stickers off of fruit and sticking them inside the door of the cupboard under the sink
• playing with fridge magnets on the washing machine
• climbing up the cupboards or washing machine door to sit or stand on the work surfaces/reach things in the cupboards at the top
• my colouring-in books and pads of paper being kept in the second drawer from the bottom beneath the kettle
• not being able to unlock the back door by myself
• my skipping ropes were kept on the second shelf in the cupboard above the fridge

▌ the garden ▌

• drawing with chalk on the ground
• being proud of my two flower pots and decorating around them with rocks i collected from the beach whilst on holiday
• playing with snails
• pushing my toy pushchairs up and down the path
• watering plants with my red & yellow watering can
• being excited when we got bird feeders

▌ the lounge ▌

• throwing some of my dinner behind the radiator in a tissue to pretend that i ate it so that i could get dessert quicker
• hiding under the table when dad came home from work
• playing with my doll house in the middle of the floor in front of the fireplace
• playing with those wooden train tracks in the middle of the lounge floor
• playing hide and seek behind the tv

▌ the hallway/stairs ▌

• roller-skating in the hallway
• using the stair banister as a slide for my toys
• playing cinderella on the stairs with nan
• whenever i did painting mum always making me do it in the hallway on that little white plastic table and blue chair
• looking for any coins that dropped down from the top of the electric meter thing on the floor below and saying "finders keepers!" if i found any
• the game I made up where you throw balls (football size mostly) up the stairs as fast as possible but make sure none of them hit the bottom step/floor, have to keep hitting them back up over and over again until you failed or until they all got stuck landing on a stair (basically like the "don't let the balloon hit the floor" game but with balls on the stairs instead)
• sitting on or using the exercise bike that used to be by the front door facing the electric cupboard
• when we got the new chairs for the lounge and mum and dad put the old grey ones in the hallway temporarily up against the wall on the right and I'd climb up and sit at the top of them

▌ the bathroom ▌

• using the slanted part of the bath as a water slide
• the game in the bath where i spun myself around quickly by holding onto the bath handles and making waves of water splash up and over the bath which always made mum angry
• playing with toys in the sink
• climbing up onto the toilet and then onto the sink to spy on people in the driveway

▌ the landing ▌

• daring myself to climb up onto the banister and sit above the stairs with my legs dangling over the edge or stand on it

▌ my bedroom ▌

• jumping around on my bed to music
• forever friends curtains
• having so much mess under my bed
• putting stickers all over my door
