• all the JP films being shown on ITV when I was growing up, no other channels
• mum and dad telling me to cover my eyes when rexy ate Gennaro and Arnold's arm fell on Ellie
• begging for JP on video whilst we were in a shop but mum not wanting to get it for me thinking it would be "nicer" if I had something more girly, so I ended up coming home with beauty & the beast instead and not being too happy about it
• seeing the advertising for the lost world in newspapers/mags

seeing a still of the scene where sarah is hanging from the roof with the raptors below in the dark and thinking that meant the film was set in space

• dad giving me little cardboard pop up things with dinos on from the lost world that came free with something
• being proud of myself for correcting the teacher being the only one who could pronounce "velociraptor" correctly on a school trip to the natural history museum and one of the teachers calling me a smarty pants for it
• having a brief crush on ian malcolm when I was 12 or 13?
• having to watch some of JP in science class at school when we were learning about genetics and getting annoyed with people in the class who hadn't seen JP before and said it was boring
• seeing the JP3 posters outside the cinema when we were on a school trip to watch shrek and wishing I could go watch JP3 instead
• acting out what I imagined a 4th JP film would be like in the garden (I made the story of 3 girls being lost on the island after they get separated from their parents for some reason)
• being excited when the news got released that JW2 will be filming in london
• seeing some of the filming locations for JW2
• getting excited spotting the AF signs for JW2
• seeing some of the props for JWFK
