- the ticking clock in the wall in the lounge - it was so quiet during the day that was all you could hear
- eating white bread rolls
- eating donuts
- flying my barbie kite on the beach
- going to car boot sales and getting toys from the 80's
- visiting the art gallery down the road
- going to the fruit & veg market down the road with nan
- going to the post office with nan
- there was a chip shop down the hill from nan and granddad's bungalow
- visiting nan's friends who lived in a house near theirs, they had 2 west highland terrier dogs that I thought were cute (I think they were white)
- the long grass in the back garden
