“The fuck does this mean?” Jimin is looking at the same thing, at the metal engulfing Yoongi’s skinny wrist. It’s then that Yoongi sees it all, sees the rest of it; sees the other half of the handcuffs tying Jimin to him.

It's when he's left on the side of a dark, rain slick road, Taehyung sobbing over his rapidly deteriorating body, that he's slowly forced to come to terms with the fact that maybe there's much more to the heat behind Yoongi's crimson irises whenever they focus on him.

And throwing a brand new life into the mix manages to both complicate, and simplify everything all at once.

"Oh, we're talking. Right now." Jimin glanced over his shoulder as the faint muffle of shifting boxes and scraping of furniture on the floor issued below the crack in their bedroom door. "You've been hidden away in your little cave for a while, huh, hyung. Forget to mention something to me? Something potentially important, like, I don't know, a new roommate moving into the apartment?"

Namjoon licked his lips. "Oh god, I forgot." He twisted around and grabbed his phone from the night stand, fingers clumsily swiping the cracked screen. "Shit, he texted me. Like five times."

"Who texted, babe? The guy moving a billion boxes into our apartment as we speak?" Jimin folded his arms across his chest, smiling sharply.

Wincing, he rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah. I guess you met Jin." Shuffling to the end of the bed, Namjoon bit the edge...

“You're not fifteen anymore,” is what Yoongi blurts out, voice raspy. Jimin can’t help but let out a surprised chuckle. There are many ways he imagined their interaction could have gone, but Yoongi staring at him, mildly awestruck? There’s no way he could have predicted this.

“It’s nice to see you again, Yoongi hyung,” Jimin greets, easily recovering from his gawking.

“It’s nice to see you after all this time too, Park Jimin.” Yoongi finally looks him in the eye. “I see you’ve kept up with daggers.”

“You were nice about it,” Jimin says. “I don’t know who else would be. I’ve never actually…told anyone else. Except Tae.” Yoongi doesn’t move. “You said yourself it’s not a big deal. You probably kiss someone new every weekend.” Jimin pauses, waits, and then very quietly: “Why not me?”

Yoongi’s shoulders lift with a sigh, his face still downturned to the breakfast bar, hidden from view. “It’s not the same,” he mumbles.

Jimin's made it to 20 without experiencing his first kiss, and Yoongi's the quiet, grumpy guy he turns to for help. Slight problem: Yoongi doesn't like him.

First Touch

For a variety show challenge, Jimin must tell Yoongi every day for 100 days that he loves him.

The 100-Day Love Challenge

Jimin regards him for a second and hums. “I don’t actually know how to get to know someone you’ve known for five years already, so I googled, and I found a list of thirty-six questions—”

Yoongi looks up and tsks. “Those are to make strangers fall in love with each other, Jimin-ah,” he drawls.

“Don’t be delusional, Yoongi. I'd sooner eat my own foot than fall in love with you.”

OR: Jimin is delighted when Namjoon asks him to be the best man at his wedding to Seokjin. The only downside to that is that Seokjin's best man is the man Jimin has hated from the moment they first laid eyes on each other: Min fucking Yoongi. Now, thrown together all of a sudden and with a Bachelor's party to organise, Jimin and Yoongi have to find a way to navigate their mutual dislike.

Say You Do

What do differences matter in the face of love? Who cares that Yoongi is the god of the underworld and Jimin the son of the harvest goddess. Jimin wants Yoongi, and he’ll do anything to have him.

Pomegranate Seeds

It’s his voice that catches Yoongi’s attention.

It’s high-pitched. Melodious. It reminds Yoongi of the high end of a music box or the light tinkle of sleighbells. White strands of Christmas lights and polished silver. Not something that would normally drop Yoongi’s mood into the pits of hell.

The thing is that the kid sounds pissed to high heavens. It’s like the music box is broken, the sleighbells rusted, the silver dull and the lights exploding one by one. Yoongi doesn’t particularly want to hear this on his good day. The last thing he cares about right now is whatever made such a soft voice sound so full of poison.
