• Never date because of how someone looks. Everyone changes physically, but one's character may remain the same.
  • Never ignore red flags in a relationship and compromise while dating. Only compromise after marriage. Like my mom has always said to me, translated into English, "When you're dating, open both eyes. When you're married, close one eye."
  • Dating someone you can't see marrying is a waste of your time. Unless you like sleeping around... then maybe you should re-examine your own life first.
  • How a man treats his mother is how he will treat his future wife.
  • It's important to find someone with the same values, goals, and interests (in order of importance, but all vital nonetheless)
  • Relationships are about compromise from BOTH SIDES. Be forgiving of faults and flexible with certain habits. To me, there's a certain degree of compromise couples must be willing to have. But the need to compromise TOO MUCH may indicate unfit for each other...
  • Don't set your standards too low. I believe it's important to have a SHORT list of IMPORTANT traits your sigother must have. Don't settle for anything less than your list. On the other hand, setting standards too high may cause you to never find your other half.
  • When you know, YOU KNOW. There are no doubts.
