- april
- cris started to look at how much it costs to build a home. we talk about how much sqft we would need, and imagine living in a small home (no more than 2000 sqft. it's really beautiful to imagine your own home.
- i am interested in learning about myself (my thinking patterns, anxieties, how i communicate with others). apparently i'm an enneagram type 1
- gureisu was surprised that i was? sometimes i wonder how well we can know other people.
- i am super into financial ind / retire early. like, read about it daily, check budget daily.
- may
- may 1st - using the motivation i have from april about retiring early
- interests:
- i'm still very much into retire early (re) content. i reread financial freedom and checked in again with how i feel about it. especially blogs now.
- I started a BLOG. happy if fi. trying to find my voice and my 'look' for it now.
- health:
- but i've starting focusing on getting my 'lake body' although it's not going as easily as i'd planned. cris does slightly tempt me into drinking beer / eating sweets (ice cream etc.). i love that he doesn't restrict me and all but i wish having to say no wasn't part of the equation. like, if he never asked then i'd have to go out of my way to eat the sweet.
- i like that i've been sticking to a routine: morning, drink a thing of water. breakfast w curisu around 8-9am (oats and coffee, now black). supplements and kombucha if i feel like it. 9:30~10am stand up, use stair stepper. 200 active cal by 2pm.
- we might be going to ikea. i feel conflicted about wanting to buy more 'storage'. like, shouldn't i be downsizing? UGH.
- media:
- mare of easttown (hbo) very depressing but interesting to watch. we like it! / avatar the last airbender cris started watching on his own but i like watching it before bed with him too,
- magic of tidying (netflix) marie kondo going around helping people organize! very fun. i liked seeing her speak japanese / canine intervention fun! he's really amazing at training dogs / money, explained i love learning about money so this show was super easy breezy.
- watched lots of documentaries on obesity epidemic ... then led to watching stuff about anorexia, then diabulimia, then to this british tv show called secret eaters where they surveilled what couples were eating for a week and explained how much overeating they actually did. ... it's fascinating ;_;
