    • inbody scan:
      • took the inbody test on 07/31/21 with curisu. really helpful. i now know that i have more muscle than average in my arms / core, but my legs could be stronger. i also know that i have ~8 lbs of body fat to lose to get to a more healthy range. it's really nice to know!
      • goal: gain muscle! (and lose body fat)
        • increase skeletal muscle w/ consistent, progressive strength training
        • build my own consistent good nutrition
          • get good carbs, lots of fiber (veggies), moderate protein, and healthy fats (seeds, omega 3s)
        • continue to walk everyday, workout 5x week, & (slow) run 1x week
    • nutrition / food
      • i can afford frozen blueberries @ aldi! $2.79 for micronutrients!
      • going to buy a multivitamin soon
      • really interested in making overnight oats
      • no alcohol this month. we just have had non-alocoholic beers lately.
    • EPIC I challenge:
      • thoughts: day one (legs are like noodles, i wonder if my leg muscles will grow from the squats, pulses, lunges...).
      • 8/16 update: starting up again after a week recovering from digestion issues.
    • bowel movements:
      • i want to be more regular
      • eating more bulgar / barley / fruits / veggies.
      • 8/4 update: actually, not drinking coffee is helping with my regularity. i wake up and go right away when i only drink green tea.
      • 8/9 update: been battling stomach or bacteria virus the past 4 days. diarrhea issues. not sure what caused it, but now want to talk to the doctor.
      • 8/16 update: finally a normal stool this morning! taking probiotics daily now.

    • 8/14: visited andrew, ben, kuo & naomi!
    • 8/14ish: really into lumines (video game) right now!
    • 8/20 ish: really into reading articles (news, personal finance, movie tropes) lately. with that, though, my phone usage has increased.
    • 8/25: i wonder if i'm too easily distracted. i can't focus on anything and keep wanting to look at my phone or some new website to be 'interested' by something.
    • 8/26: i feel really agitated about retiring early. i want to FI faster. i read @apurplelife (blog and twitter) and the fire subreddits in my spare time. my desire for leggings or other frivolous purchases is low when i'm going through these phases.
    • 8/28: interested in writing in a journal more often. also studying japanese and korean more consistently.
