• highlights
    • 6/1: i like clif builder protein bars now. it's a bit better w/ upping my protein lately, so i'm going to try to be mindful of my veggie + fruit intake more.
    • 6/3: rude customer service @ the MVA
      • went to the MVA to provide my age/id verification documents (for my realID) but the MVA rep woman was incredibly antagonistic and rude. she didn't try to be accommodating at all, and just assumed i needed a new ID (but then didn't go through with it at the end??). i explained to her that i went through their website 2x to make sure i had what i was supposed to bring and she was like, 'no that's on you' or 'don't you have your car registration in your vehicle??' ... she was just infuriating. even at the end, she didn't say, 'ok, you're done' or next steps at all. terrible customer service.
      • the only nice thing was going to the leonardtown library (to try to print out 2 additional proof of address for the MVA) and seeing how nice and new it was.
      • update: i called the mva and they said i was compliant... so i guess i'm just going to leave it.
    • 6/5: sundays are very vulnerable days for me - but i don't feel as anxious as i did yesterday. which is nice!
    • 6/10: proud of how i'm finishing the habits lately. i have been getting 10,000 steps the past few days. completing all my circles (activity goal: 580 cal currently). my morning walks have gotten faster and my resting heart rate is improving (at least compared to a few weeks ago)! keep it up, tasha!
      • i am doing better with veggies, fruit. want to keep that up.
      • just keep strength training.
      • maybe in the future you'll do couch to 5k (winter months)
    • 6/17 back from norfolk tour travel
      • i had such a nice time in general meeting the point mugu team
      • i also felt a little more confident in getting around norfolk base and driving scott to different things, lol.
    • 6/18: went to GNC and took inbody 270 test with curisu.
      • it was eye-opening. while my skeletal muscle mass did go up, my fat also went up! the recommendation is to lose 9.7 lbs of body fat. so let's just round it up to 10 lbs of body fat.
      • my general guidelines:
        • keep calories around ~1800 kcal / day (started using myfitnesspal)
        • get 10,000 steps a day, at minimum
        • get 130g+ protein if possible
        • workout 5x a week (following epic 1 through july)
    • 6/30: this was the month of some shopping for me. i bought 2 lululemon aligns (on sale) and 2 fear of god essentials hoodies. i really was nervous about the hoodies but they arrived today and i like how they fit very much. thank gosh, cause i dont know if there was a return policy on those lol.

      • megan fox is not really interesting as an actress but she is mesmerizing to watch. at least this movie they didn't... ogle at her -as- much.

      • the main character is very cute so it makes everything more fun, but i'm also really impressed with the japanese cast. everyone really fits their role.

  • goals
    • reach 10,000 steps more consistently: doing well!
      • 6/19: having no real issues keeping this up! feels good.
      • 6/28: doing well keeping up with 10,000 steps a day. on days that i'm busy, i don't get down about it.
    • finish epic 1 - trying to get 5x a week
    • do 12/3/30 incline walking 3x / week
    • more is not more: focus on strength training (epic1), steps right now, and eating in a calorie deficit.
